Mike Modro
Michael (Mike) S. Modro was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and raised in Vienna, Austria, until the age of 12. In 1999, Michael moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he pursued his career as an Olympic Figure Skater. Throughout his professional career, he competed internationally, winning multiple prestigious awards. In 2006, Michael retired from his Olympic career in order to pursue his additional career as a thriving entrepreneur. Graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Finance, soon thereafter, he launched a very successful manufacturing apparel company working alongside top labels such as Tom Ford, J Brand, Rag & Bone, Mother’s Denim and many more top designers. In 2016, Michael launched his luxury interior empire providing his elite clientele and top interior designers with one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces, adding to the development of a total of five private labels under his brand, Italian Custom Imports. Michael joined Karma in December 2016 in the interest of developing new friendships with like-minded entrepreneurs, while helping and inspiring others to pursue their dreams. He now serves as the Karma Orange County Chapter Vice President.
