ANTHONY MCCLAREN, Karma Los Angeles Chapter President

Anthony "Mic" McClaren is an athlete, adventurer, alpinist, and advocate.  He practices Labor and Employment counseling and litigation in downtown Los Angeles on behalf of management, and has a niche practice representing the commercial transportation industry in labor and employment matters.

When he is not practicing law, he spends the rest of his time engaging in high risk, exercise intensive excursions.  He considers himself an advanced amateur alpine style mountain climber, and possess the skills necessary to climb rock, ice waterfalls, and to navigate high mountain terrain.  He has also traveled to 25 countries and prefers to travel with a light wallet and an open mind, as this generates the greatest travel stories.

Anthony manages a non-profit organization, Climb Above Parkinsons, which raises awareness and support for treating and curing Parkinsons Disease and other neuro-degenerative conditions.  His organization directly benefits USC Keck School of Medicine and Neurology.

Finally, Anthony is the son of a US Air Force Master Sergeant, a former American football linebacker and rugby player, a repeat marathon runner, a passionate environmentalist, and he enjoys anything that is competitive.  He strives to achieve excellence in everything, and avoids perfection at anything.
