MARC PULEO is the Chief Marketing Officer of Karma International and is helping drive expansion as Founding President of Karma's Miami Chapter. After attending medical school and serving four years of residency training in Cardiac Anesthesiology at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Marc moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and started a private medical practice.

Ever interested in business, Marc soon founded 1-800-PetMeds, a nationwide pet pharmacy. As Chairman, CEO, President and Marketing Director he grew the company exponentially and eventually took the company public in 2000; NASDAQ stock symbol PETS. In 2004, Businessweek rated PetMeds as the #1 Fastest Growing Company in the US (revenues under $1B) and Forbes rated PetMeds #4 in 2006 with the same distinction. With over 200 employees in a 75,000 square foot facility and revenues in excess of $200M, Marc retired from the company in 2006 to pursue real estate, world traveling, start-up investing, Navy Seal tech rebreather diving to depths in excess of 550 feet, high speed power boat racing and personal development.

For several years, Marc has worked with Dr. Deborah Mash, a Neurologist, and Director of the National Brain Bank at the University in Miami to develop and fund the research of cutting edge new medicines derived from rare plants in Africa.  Marc has worked with top physicians, scientists, and medical boards in an effort to discover new medicines that can potentially cure various diseases. Having connected with Karma in 2014 as a Member, Marc soon found Karma to be a perfect fit with his view on life and philanthropy.

As the Founding President of our Karma Miami chapter he oversees the event calendar and membership development in the area.
